Britain’s Cal Crutchlow has completed his switch away from the Ducati factory and has signed a one-year deal to replace the departing Stefan Bradl in the satellite LCR Honda MotoGP team for 2015. Crutchlow had already agreed to remain with the Bologna factory but a last-minute deal, which came about after HRC said they no longer required the German, was struck on Thursday night with the Coventry man released from his Ducati contract this lunchtime. "We want to thank Cal for his trust in our 2015 racing project and we are excited to line up with new team colours thanks to the cooperation with CWM. In the mean time we will keep working hard to end the current season in the best way,” said team boss Lucio Cecchinello. Bradl has already found a seat in the Forward NGM squad to replace the Suzuki-bound Aleix Espargaro. Andrea Iannone is now promoted to the works Ducati team alongside Andrea Dovizioso.
