Track limits was one of the major talking points of the day, which were very strict to ensure appropriate driving. Eurotech’s Jack Goff found himself on the receiving end of this by having a few lap times removed although this did not stop him from bringing his car home in P1 in 58.653, which put him ahead of Tom Ingram by a thousandth of a second!
To reiterate how competitive the qualifying session was at Silverstone, all 32 cars were separated by an incredible 0.886 seconds. “We are very pleased with qualifying, especially given how close the field is” said team manager Bert Taylor. “To have both cars within half a second of pole position shows just how competitive the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship is this year. We have great race pace and are ready to get racing tomorrow morning
